downtown, drive or take the cab?

Have to go to 400 w. Superior Feb the 20th in the morning for court. Didn't do anything wrong, just gotta notice from the city at work for some fire dept stuff that I have to bring some paperwork in for and be present it in front of the judge.
I live by O'hare and detest driving in the city. Would taking a cab actually be about the same cost as if I drove myself and paid for that rip off parking??

Drive to the L and take the train. That is what I always do. I need to go to Daley center soon so I can get my damn license back.

Yeah, if you live by Ohare then take the Blue line into the loop from River Road.

Blue line to Lake Transfer. Transfer to Brown line. Brown line to Chicago Avenue. The stop is about a half block east of Orleans, so it is about a two block walk to 400 W. Superior; just be careful what side of Chicago Ave. you walk on west of Orleans (stay on the S. side).
