Need A Discount on Moto Cross Gear

Hey all,

My colleague overseas is looking for a discount on (3) Leatt-Brace-GPX Neck Collars. Please let me know if you or someone you know can give me a deal from somewhere on this gear. It is much appreciated.

I don't think that there are any discounts on these, but I may be wrong.

The Leatts WILL NOT BE MARKED DOWN. They are major cocks about this from what I understand. I've heard lots of guys who bought th $600 version say they should have gotten the $400 version.

EVS is beginning to market their version at around $170.00

No reviews that I've found on this yet.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Now I know not to bust my hump trying to find a discount for this guy.

I guess I'll just keep bumping this in case anyone can perform a miracle. Anyone here walk on water?

Yeah it a bunch of crap if you ask me. There was a bit of an internet controversy when Leatt came out with these things. There was a video that featured David Bailey (paralyzed pro mx rider from the 80's) ranting about how every man woman and child that rides should be wearing these, but its credibility was questioned as there wasn't (and really still isn't) any proof that these things work at all to help prevent injury. Many thought it was little more than a marketing gimic.

Thumpertalk.com had these in their store in Vegas, and were selling them online at a slight discount and got their distributorship pulled over the discount. I'll be sure to never end up with a Leatt version. It seems fishy to me that they on one hand want everybody weraring them for safety sake and price them so that only the 3 richest kings of Ireland can afford to buy them.

Can someone suggest a good web site for purchasing moto cross gear? Specifically, I'm looking to buy the neck brace from my first post.

I've been buying from www.rockymountainmc.com lately.

The EVS version is selling for like $150.00 (preorders) on www.thumpertalk.com right now.
