mods, mods, mods....

This time it was the jeep.

I installed a 2 inch liftkit over the weekend just to get rid of the tire rubbing issue I was having with the 30x9.50x15 tires I have on there, oh and I wanted the rear stiffened up so I can use a mototote once and a while with the dirt bike.

I installed the rusty's offroad 2" lift with the add a leaf for the rear.

It all went in rather painlessly, and it turns out autozone rents spring compressor for free. which i was very happy to find out.

the first pic is before, (sorry it was with my camera phone.

second pic is after notice the much increased distance between the fender and tire. No more rubbing and the rear end is much stiffer. it's not extreme by any means but for 99 bucks and a few hours labor the deal cant be beat.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Where is my dirtbike? Is it okay? Are you keeping the blanket on it like I asked? Are you playing reggae in the garage during the day and jazz at night per my instructions?

I'm nervous that you're too distracted to properly care for my toys.

Seriously though - Nice work on the lift!
