Ferrari FXX

http://www.autoblogstar.com/2008/02/...ate-kids-play/

kids are an excuse for adults to buy toys
This thing looks awesome!

For those who think that cost shouldn’t be a factor when it comes to buying a toy for their youngsters, Bergtoys has released the Ferrari FXX Racer pedal car.

For €499 or approx $725, you can buy the basic version of the Ferrari inspired pedal car which comes equipped with a seven-speed transmission, an on-board processor, disc brake pedals, semi-slick pursuit tires.

But that’s not all. Parents who can spare “a little’ more cash or to be exact, €1,499 / $2,175, Bergtoys offers a supped up version of their Ferrari FXX Racer pedal car dubbed “Exclusive”.

The latter is equipped with a first-class fast bucket seat with a four-point harness, a leather steering wheel, larger alloy wheels and even an aero bodykit.

That's nice.. but that's not the real deal...
The FXX is .... something else.
I am not even sure if "car" is the right word for what it is.

That said, I'd love a Ferrari.. Even when I have had money that I could afford to go buy one.. I figured investing was smarter...
I guess growing up pretty poor even when I got a little.. I was so loathe to spend till it hurt

(and I never had enough to buy a Ferrari without breaking myself.. That'd be about it)

Just out of curiosity.. I assume you are familiar with the FXX .. right? I figure being into this type of thing you are.. but maybe some who read this aren't

The FXX is to Enzo what the R is to the base model

and yea.. i know.. this is just a toy

Here is the day he picked it up - I am sad to no longer get out of the passenger side (on my phone of course) in front of a line of people waiting to get into said establishment as I cut past them all and walk straight in sans waiting

Mine too...
Ours is more like a base model..
The FXX is .. what close to 2 million? (or.. at least that's what they are going for last I looked)
Looks like it was released at 1.3m euros... Not sure what they all ended up selling for

in case anyone isn't familiar with this automobile (and somehow i bet everyone is at least familiar.. but we could always learn a bit more)
