real wage listings??

Does anyone know of a legit even pay service that lists wages for different job titles according to location? I am trying to help our HR/GM with some baseline info for a wage study. The CEO of our company has been bugging him for this info for a while. I submitted the typical salary.com, payscale.com info but the CEO is skeptical since it is on the web and free. I actually think it is because the info shows that we are all grossly underpaid Anyhow, I was thinking that if anyone had any info other than the typical stuff we all look at it would be helpful, even if it was a reasonably priced paid service.

I've always found that any specific information you find on this is always subjective, at best.

Try HR publications on-line.

Lookup IHRIM or SHRM.

They are not free, but should be able to help you out.

+1

My company doesn't pay all that great but I do get 5 weeks of vacation a year and if I go to their hospitals they write off the 20% that insurance doesn't pay.
