Ebay question

Ive never bid on anything on Ebay. How do I know if an item has a reserve or not ?

It wil say "reserve not met" or "reserve met". That's the only way I know of.

My wife thinks we're a bunch of Top Gun wannabes with our call signs, so for future reference, I'm Roger

No reserve on this auction, highest bidder will take it at the end....but the seller has the "Shades" icon...

When the shades icon appears next to a User ID, it signifies that the user has been a registered eBay user for 30 days or less, or has changed his/her User ID within the last 30 days. The shades icon will disappear after the user has maintained the same User ID for a 30-day period.

Could be a new person that just registered on Ebay, or someone who had bad history, and changed their userid to hide this fact....

If you pick it up and pay in person you souldnt have a problem. Sending money to someone without any feedback could be risky. It never stops me from bidding though.

And if hte item is not as described, you can usually back out of the deal...
