Another Dog Thread.

Does your dog have a voice?

When you speak for your dog what type of voice do you use?

Abbie says everything in the past tense with an "ed"

Like

I play-ed chase-ed in the park-ed.

Or are my wife and I the only ones with this affliction?

No, and yes you are!

Actually, I use play voices for his stuffed animal toys, not him. I use these weird voices and talk trash to him getting him all riled up and then throw it so he can go fetch it. My kids call it a comedy act and expect a different "show" every night.

No, we most definitely do this with the Bear. It's our primary source of entertainment.

I always use a stiff firm voice with my dogs. Have to let them know who the boss is.

I say things to my oreo that either starts with an "n" or has nubbly in it. (that's what we called her poorly docked tail) For example:

I nub my oreo....

She is a nubbly doggers.

crazy dogs, even crazier owners....

Oh, I can get Bingo (that's the name you get when a 5 year old names a dog btw) to talk to me. I tell her to talk nice, and she starts to whimper. Then I start saying easy words, like mama and please in a really high voice, she tries to mimic me. It's a riot.
like this:

Dagan Sayin i love you with adam!!!

Yeah, once when I was rally stoned, I swore that my old Dog (Syd the Border Collie) said, "Just look at yerrr stoooned ahss; you lazy piece a crrrrap" in a hard core Scottish accent

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"
