The guys that DID something for their Valentine

What is up with the Walgreens type stores?!?!

It was like a fricking war zone in there yesterday!

I came out unharmed, but words don't hurt. I believe I was the only person not buying something red or pink.

Didn't get flowers delivered, but we do have dinner planned for the evening. I'm going to stop by the flower shop after work and pick out something to give to her when I pick her up for dinner.

I noticed that, too. I stopped by to get some chocolates and I saw harried men charging around trying to find something at the last minute.

I don't know what you speak of. I went to Walgreens yesterday to get a card and snow salt and there was no one there... and there was no salt either.

don't have this problem. the wife and I both agree that why do we have to have a day that says we should do something, doesn't it make it more "romantic" or what ever you call it when you send flowers, or take to a special dinner, or even just a card on the other 365 days this year.

I'm guessing the "best Friend" is becoming more than that

I'm sure most of the married guys on the board also do romantic stuff throughout the year. I know I do. But its nice to do things on V-day, too.

shit, I haven't even gone yet. Probably go to walmart around 3 and see if they have any flowers. My old lady has been slacking on the blow-J's this year, so I'm not going all out this year.

We both decided that since tonight is gonna be a warzone anywhere we go to just do the valentines day thing tomorrow night. Taking her to dinner at Gino's East (she never been there and she loves deep dish) and since she goes to school it would be hard to have flowers delivered to work so im gonna get some roses and bring them to her myself.
