Steve Alexander. My in there is Patti McIntyre. She is in telecom and is a family friend. I have know her since we where in diapers. She kept bugging me about turning in my resume since I am stuck at my current job working second shift and out in the burbs. Well I sent her and her friend a rough draft resume yesterday since this was the first resume I ever did. What does she do, she shows them my rough draft resume and she said that they liked what they saw and wanted me to submit my resume via your website ASAP since they where closing the rec. So I woke up this morning and sent it through. According to Patti they like what they saw compared to the other resumes. She said to be expecting a call soon. Yeah if you could put the word in for me.

Well I have a interview set up for next week. I am a little nervous as I have been with my current employer for 12 years and like stability. But things have been a little shakey at work the last couple of years with how slow our market is and also me getting put on second shift is the main reason I have been looking for a new job. I am a people person and I really have been out of the loop for almost a year so spending time with my kids, girlfriend and friends have been cut. My personal life have been cut to almost nothing.

I know that is the price of having a good paying job and I will be taking a pay cut but the plus side is I will have paid days off. It is hard to pass up 39 paid days off. I have never had paid time off. I have never worked in a salary position before and also a non union job so I am kinda like a fish out of water. I just hope the end result is good. These last couple of days have been stressful as all hell and now I know why LOL. Wish me luck!
