Hey all im looking at picking up a 748 in red, 2001 0r 2002 whats everyone think a well kept piece wt under 10k miles should be running?

And if you own one or ever have do you have any pro's and con's for me.
Also whats your overall opinion of the 748, i love the new line out i wanted the 749 but somehow i keep looking back at pics of the 748 / 996 / 998 and im just in love with it, damn that thing looks sharp.

Save money for one with more horsies, like the 996/996... my opinion. The 748 is cexy though.

I love my '00 996s, most of it is at Kens house being repaired and painted.

My buddy had an awesome '01 748s. This is the bike after a second and final crash.

I cannot ride a 748s to its full ability. Saying that, I am still very glad I hend out and found the 996s, esp at the price I got her for.

I got a 749 with under 6k miles for $7,900.00. It has some carbon work done and 1/2 Termignani exhaust. If you are looking stock, Mopar is right - about $6,500.00 for up to 10k miles.

Just get a set of Craftsman tools. Even if I sold my tools off at 1/2 price, it will still cost more then Craftsman as all my tools are SK brand. SK tools costs just as much as SnapOn. Incredible quality though, on par with SnapOn in both price and quality.

Yet you can afford a Ducati. Focken Polaka!

You will all of a sudden be able to afford tools once you see how much the dealer charges for maintaining your precious Ducati. I can loan you a tool here and there as you only live like 5 minutes from me. I don't allow Ducatis in my garage though. I did bend the rules a bit and will start swapping tires for Ducs but that's it.
