LOL...he was just making it "extra special for a cop"

...in all seriousness, the probation is BS. That "sentence" would be BS no matter who consumed the burger. I wonder if they would have been deemed responsible for any negative actions that could have resulted from the officer eating them.

Also, I've never been presented with cooked or baked marijuana...is it easy to conceal the appearance and smell inside cooked food? I just wonder if there was a lot of marijuana in it like the officer said, how was it not detected or smelled or something.

If the cop wasn't so fat he would have been able to easily smell it. I call BS on there being a lot of pot in it either way. The sentence was definitely very light, but I can see how flipping burgers would make you want to pull a prank on some random cops. I think a nice hefty helping of community service would be appropriate.

having made brownies before. IF You cook the weed in the oil / butter prior and then use that oil / butter to make the food, the THC (active ingredient) in marijuana will be released into the oil / butter and you cook with that, it is very easy to conceal it. If you just sprinkled it over the top of the burger or sprinkled it into the patty, you would notice it, it has a unique texture and very the taste is similar to the smell prior to cooking it. You would notice it.

sucks for the cops, and i do agree the sentence was A little low for the incident.

BUT time for me to make funny's (in good humor) the size of chubby there sure looks like he is a regular at BK

(now my opinion of the facts)

2nd he stated the burgers had A Lot of pot in it, so did he eat it all or took a bite and stopped? which i feel if thats the case probation is in line.
whats punishable in a crime is what was actually done. you do this, you get that! the worse a crime the higher the punishment.

no one ever took capitol punishment for (thinking) of a crime.

you dont get a murder charge for simply picking up a knife.

(if you can understand that without me typing out 100 words to get my point entirely)

now if there was a shooting, and of course blood/urine drawn and he was high, it was linked back to BK and it appears the officer acted out of best judgment those kids would fry.

i tried a laced brownie YEARS ago, it was like biting into a brownie that had the consistency of chopped hay in it.

needless to say it tasted like shit, and spit it out.

ok,
1. No wonder they only recived probation; that judge obviously tokes up and listens to the Dead every night.

2. Sorry, but the ossifer needs to get over it. A little weed in his Whopper, BFD. I smoke bongs all the time before I go to work or get in my car. JUST KIDDING! Still, it's not like it was X or LSD. Start feeling odd, park the cruiser, radio for a ride home, get over it. The BK guys were definitely idiots, more so to serve the burgers to cops, and it's definitely a good thing no-one was affected by their actions other than the po(t)-po(t). But I sure wouldn't want a cop on my local force who almost broke down and cried on TV over something like this. I might just be laughing. That guy is either a pussy or a drama queen. Man up.

3. Does BK hve any plans to add this burger to their menu, and where will they test market it? I don't eat fast food much, but I'd definitely go for it a hell of a lot more, like for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at least one day of the week..

If it had the consistancy of hay, they did it wrong. They just threw the shit in the mix. Some of my high school buddies bake/cook with pot, and I always have to ask them, cause you can't tell if it's in there or not until its too late.

Sure, they'd be the first person in the recorded history to have it though.

I think that was a fucked up thing to do. Haven't seen the movie (it's blocked), but if the guy truly thinks he could've died from weed alone, he's the last person I want to be on the streets dealing with people and drugs.

if i were to get one of these burgers on duty i would be uber-pissed.... .but if i were to "accidentally" get one while off duty, not so much

this reminds me of a similar incident that happened to me while i lived out in LA with a college friend. i was testinf for PD's out there at the time and he made a batch of special brownies. i had no idea that they were any more than regular brownies so i helped myself to a few. needless to say i felt the effects. good thing i never reached the drug test phase at any jobs out there anytime soon after.
