A deep fried pizza puff saved my life once.

A microwaved pizza puff only saved my Sunday afternoon once.

Lesson: Pizza Puffs Save Lives - you should eat them.

What is a pizza puff? I've never heard of this food.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Would you say that the jamaican beef patty is equivalent to the american pizzza puff?

The only downside to a delicously fresh fried PP is burning the roof of your mouth. I am very impatient when it comes to PPs.

Definitely my favorite.

A pizza puff done correctly must be made by a greek owned establishment that also specializes in hot dogs and dagwoods.

I know the owners of that joint. Grew up in that neighborhood. Their parents always owned that little liquor store, and I worked there as a teenager.

For you city dwellers-

See if your local Mr Sub has them. That's where I typially score my puffs these days.

I get my my Gyros, Pizza Puff fix from the following establishments in the city:

Downtown - Greektown Gyros, Mr. Greek Gyros
Greektown Gyros is a little more expensive but the quality is much better than Mr. Greek.... however, if you're looking for a quick fix Mr. Greek is usually the better option.

North Side - Hubs
I grew up eating at Hubs.. it's a northside classic. If you're from the north... you've eaten at Hubs. The gyros is > than any of the restaurants in greek town.
