you decided to grow up and watch your weight or be healthy. Oh... I miss the Dew.. I used to drink one every morning to wake up...

Nothing like 16 ounces of corn sryup and caffeine. People would be like, how do you drink that so early? I would respond with, hey the main and 1st ingredient is orange juice so bite me.

A nice, cold, refreshing bottle of Squirt. I stopped drinking pop about 8 months ago, i'll have one occasionally on gassy days. I still eat what i want (just less of it) so there's nothing else that i miss.

Even tho I'm trying to lose weight, I haven't "given up' any foods. I try to eat as healthy as possible but when I'm out to eat with friends, I get what I want. I've found that if I deprive myself of all the yummy foods I will start binging and eat all the unhealthy crap I love for a few days straight. lol.

I do miss my Mountain Dew Code Red tho. At my last job we had it in the vending machines and I had quite a few a day. I was so addicted. Now I just have it when I'm hungover and need energy.

Dude, Dew put hair on my chest. Had none before Dew, fell out when I stopped drinking it..

I get my Starbucks fix now and then. Reason I bring this thread up is I am trying to get off diet pop as well now.

I miss REAL soda...you know, the sugary yumminess full of empty calories. I also really miss REAL ice cream. When I got healthy and lost weight I got rid of almost all processed sugar. I hardly ever even drink diet soda...Crystal Light and Iced Tea are the drinks of choice now.

I also miss Big Macs...yuummmm!!! You know, that yummy meat like substance between gobs of thousand island type sauce and something that resembles cheese. I haven't had one in 6+ yrs...

Otherwise, I still eat and drink pretty much whatever I want. Just a little less in quantity and less often. I've never really been a junk food eater. I really can't think of anything I "miss". Maybe some of my mom's home cooking. MD20/20 too if I really wanted it, but I prefer a good Port.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
