Hollywood writers strike

With the strike taking away many shows and episodes what other shows have you gotten into watching and what do you miss the most?

Lost is only eight episodes this season instead of 16. That is a little annoying but other than that there's not much I miss.

My name is JB, people call me JB

I miss The Office and My Name is Earl.

At least Lost still has new episodes.

All Movies all the time - I hate commercials - I do DVR a few programs and make fun all you want but I find them funny as hell:

1. How I met Your Mother
2. The Big Bang Theory
3. Two and a Half Men
4. Boston Legal
5. Big Shots
6. Dirty Sexy Money

Most are all in "Off Season" so I am pretty much all movies right now as I have every movie channel known to man kind

Since I download my TV shows (commercial free!), I've just been catching up on odd shows I've never had the time to watch.

I started Scrubs, and I'm on season 5 after a 7 weeks of watching.

I burned through Dresden Files.

I'm catching up on Dead Zone that I thought ended after season 3 or 4.

I caught up on Smallville

Oh! Entourage!! I blew through all seasons of that...but then some are really short seasons.

I'm sure there was something else.

I really don't watch "TV". I have a computer hooked up to a projector, and I've not had a TV with cable or Dish or anything for about 5 years now. On the rare occasion I catch TV at my parents house or a friends house, I feel my IQ quickly dropping after each commercial.

naw son theyre still gonna film some more episodes to actually end out the season. its just not given up like that. scrubs is one of their best rated shows i doubt theyd just let die and say fuck it cause of the strike. hopefully the strike didnt kill the last season that much and they are able to churn out a good final bang to the series with the episodes they have left.

I got into:
The Office
The Wire.

With Netflix, you can watch previous seasons of The Office online in good quality. The Wire was On Demand and I really got into it. I watch every new episode on Mondays, I'm hooked.

i think mopar would understand TV if you told him it existed beyond "sex and the city" and "gilmore girls"

I wish I could find the scene from Pulp Fiction where Jules asked Vincent if he was aware of an invention called the television.
