Indy Moto GP tickets

I'm about to buy Moto GP tickets for Indy. Where did you guys buy your tickets? Ticket master

What does General Admission give you? It doesn't give me any details on the website. http://moto.gptickets.com/index.asp?..._INDIANAPOLIS#

Help me out with what tickets to buy. I've never been to Indy. Is there a place I don't want to sit? Give me some advice.

Can anyone help me out with this?

It looks like these general admission tickets allow you to go where ever you want besides the pits and sit anywhere in a open grand stand.

Should I get these?

i went to Indy for a Nascar race a few years ago, and there's lots of bad seats. the infield is quite built up, so at most you could only see 3 of the 4 turns of the oval, depending on where your seats are. Judging by the layout of the GP track, I'd think you'd want to sit at the south end..

I'll bet no matter where you sit at Indy you can see more race track than if you are Road America so I'm just going to buy the general admission ticket for 75 bucks and sit where ever. I appreciate the responses guys.

A good friend of mine I work with has a house 300 yards away from the speedway on Ford Street. He is allowing me and a bunch of my friends to camp in his yard. If you're interested let me know and we can squeeze you in.

Nick, I've been to Indy a few times. The general admission is a pretty good deal, but damn, for the F1 races, it cost only like $25 or $30, cause grandstand seats could be had for $75. Anyways, you see the green spots on the track map, those are little hills, which are nice to watch the slow sections. People setup lawn chairs and umbrellas.

Regarding Grandstand seats, NW Vista is usually the best deal cause you see about 30% of the track from T11 to down the front straight. Since they're running reverse to the F1 track, you dont get to see the start from there.

Its all airfenced out around the oval turn 1 wall. There's a vid i saw that the safety directors were out there inspecting the joint, and that was a bit of a concern, but im sure it'll be plenty safe.

Have seats in J section. Ordered tix in december and still do not physically have them. Anyone else still waiting?

What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn't you consider that to be insane?

Indy Mile Saturday night at the fairgrounds about 2 miles from the speedway. AMA GNC championship round. HUGE DEAL!

You haven't read this thread? https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ight=Indy+mile

Better yet you didn't see the home page of CLSB for like 2 weeks when Cerkmx had this blatantly posted so all of CLSB could see? LOL!!!!!

Damn skippy! I'd wager that every one of the GP riders will be there for at least a part of it, just to see the legendary American sport in person. They only flattrack full time here in the States, in Canada and Australia. 'das it. And I guarantee they'll have a TZ750 there, I'm gonna bang the shit out of that exhaust pipe

That's about 1/3 grand national (top level) numbers usually. Wait till you see a real pro main event!
