Halogen Headlamp???

I have been debating getting a new headlamp for my '99 F4. I wanted to get a really bright lamp. Not sure if that would be a hallogen lamp or what but I want something with a "crisp" look to the light. I feel like my current head light looks dull. Do you guys know if I put in a halogen or anything else that is bright, would it last or do those burn out pretty fast or what?

The brightest whitest bulb I know of is the PIAA xtreme white. There expensive, about $45 each, luckily your bike only needs one.

check out the headlamps at OPP Racing

This is what I have in my bike. I have no problems at all. they are only 35 watts and are very bright IMO.

Rob I dont beleive thats a Halogen lamp. Looks like a standard H$ light bulb. Blue color to boot. I had a pair of those do the same thing in 1 weeks time. But the stock bulb lasted almost 3 years.

My bad... I just cought the bulb talk and spending very little money...so I thought I would throw that out there for the people who were not sure about spending the extra $$$. This bulb is a H4.
