Cold weather neck gear?

I am looking for some good neck underwear that I can wear under the helmet and jacket. I only want to cover up the neck up through my chin. ANy thoughts? I know some stuff exists like that.

I have an under armour cold gear shirt. I haven't tried it out in the cold yet though. It doesn't cover the entire neck, but it covers a good portion of it. Its also suppose to be really warm in the cold.

Go to a surplus store and ask for a neck gaiter

I picked up one of these at the bike show. tried it the other day when it was 37 out and it worked perfectly. Although I see they are cheaper on the web.

Like someone said, just go to any sporting goods store and look for neck warmers or neck gaiters. Look in the skiing or hunting areas area for neck warmers, balaclavas, face masks, etc. REI, Dicks sporting goods, Cabellas, etc.

Still cold enough on a naked bike to use one for now. I'll have them on-going so I am better prepared for next year and beyond. The Goldwing is going to get the Gerbing plugs as well as the Vstrom so I can do more winter riding next year. I don't see myself moving to warmer climates any time soon

Now you need those. I have them on the Multi. Hands are nice and toasty. Maybe you can get a volume discount for your fleet

Those are nifty, actually. I don't have issues with my hands due to the warm gloves I have. The ONLY area that constantly plagues me is my neck area. I have heated grips on the wing and will on the V Strom as well since those are the bikes I could honestly see riding in frigid temps.

Bah, it's not that. It's the job. I am keeping my partnership solid for at least a year or two after which time I will sell and THEN move. Now is not a good time as we are far too busy for me to cut bait and run. I would feel very badly about it, let alone causing a problem with my brother. I really want to work for another company and not really have any ownership responsibilities. Being a partner is highly stressful for me in this economy. I have a lot on the line...

That stresses me less than you think. There are no loans against any of it so it's not like I would lose anything if our company went under. My only debt is the house and that's not real debt. My bigger concern is the money I have tied up in the business that is NOT "protected." I'm not "worried" about it more than I am not wanting to "cash out" now. I would more than break even, but not by much. In two years, different story. Hence the "I'm stuck in this frozen tundra" feeling

Agreed. That's all I use as well. Plenty warm, when tucked into a shirt. Takes almost no stowage space when not in use. If its sweltering hot, wet it with cold water, and wear. It is probably one of the most versitale clothing items I have.
