oh well, they are mad that the social security administration is cracking down....its not our fault.....

Nope- they're out there picketing right now- If I were illegal, I wouldnt be drawing attention to myself.........

Just fine. One of them has been promoted into the office and is on salary.

I don't know if they came back with their real information or what.

They give us a number. We punch the number into a gov't database. It comes back green or red. If it is green, they can be hired for work. If it is red, technically they can get it straightened out and work, but they can't be refused to hire, we just tell them to clean it up and come back, or put their shit at teh bottom of the pile. You can't NOT HIRE for this reason, you just don't let them work. Laws suck.
