Tax recommendations anyone?

So I've got to pay tax's for the first time in the states. I couldn't care less about who does it, as long as it isn't me and they don't screw up. I've got a W-2 and a 1099-MISC to deal with, and most likely about 6-10k to pay in tax's.

So any recommendations on someone to deal with it?

I have a close friend that does ours. She is in Joliet off of Larkin. If you want, send me a PM with your email and I will forward all the information.

She has done my personal taxes for the last 6 years and is doing the business as well. I would recommend her to anyone.

What do the internet and Channel 11 have in common? They are both a window to the world; put it out there and do not be surprised who will see it.

I normally do my own, but I did go to H&R Block for the first few years after I had my daughter since there were so many extra deductions I wasn't familiar with. Never had any problems with them and they guarantee their work. I think it cost me like $200 to file tho.

for a w2 and a 1099misc...get Turbo tax basic for $35

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

My hero

I know the weather sucks but I'd like to stay in Chicago for at least another couple of years before being deported for tax evasion

if you donate sperm, you can use that as a one-time child deduction per year.
