Trailer...

Hey guys....

Do you guys know of any place that rents out a two bike trailer??? I checked with UHAUL, but they only have a trailer for ONE bike...
Jay and I really want to head up to my hometown in Minnesota this weekend, but as beginners, we're not sure we're ready to ride the complete route on our bikes.
However, if any one of you guys HAVE a trailer we can borrow, we're willing to pay $100 to use it for the weekend - Friday night till Monday afternoon or so....
Send me a pm, if you know of anything....
Thanks

Snifflez,

You can get two bikes in a UHaul Garden trailer. You put the first one in as far to one side as possible, using straps to hold it up from the side it's on and then roll the second bike on to the trailer. Tie down the second bike to it's side of the trailer, tie the two together, and lock up the rear. You may want to put foam, like from an old seat cushion or a few blankets between the bikes to prevent any slight touching. It can be done but, check the weight limit of the trailer.

The first turn is the worst turn, between the left ear and the right one.

There was a 2 rail trailer for sale on this board (I think). It was only $350. Then you could rent it to us.

Not sure what type vehicle your pulling the trailer with, but you can get a 6X8 trailer from U-Haul and it will work. They have 2 brackets for the front ,but you can also starp them down to the sides of the trailer which you will see what I'm talking about once you look inside.

That's what Ken and I used last year to haul our bikes to the trackday.

Arlington motorsports is expensive to rent a trailer. I think it was 175 for a 2 bike for the weekend.
