Where to ride

I'm fed up with driving up and down [removed by self due to stupidity]. Is there another curvy road that has better pavement in the chicagoland area? I'm in the burbs and am looking for a new area to prowl.

PM me if you have any ideas.

I am not sure if you have read any of the rules of this site but one of the biggest is that you are not supposed to name any roads on the web since it can be viewed by the cops that visit here every so often. Meaning, if you talk about specific roads we like there will be a nice set of blue and red lights in your rear view mirrors soon enough.

I am not a moderator so I cant edit your post, but you can. delete the specific road names. If you want to know where to ride, come out to a group ride or bike night and you will be able to talk then or actually be taken there. Sorry if I am coming off harsh but I wanted to give you the low down on why no one will reply.

Welcome. Hope to ride with you sometime.

Come out to some group rides, listing names of roads on the site in public is never a good idea.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Come out on rides. Wea re all iso good roads. Motobeagle has a river run which is a 500 mile total ride up to sw wisconsin (galena ish) with some great roads. Vivid 1 is going to have a 2 day Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin ride at the end of June, which also has great roads, and Odysseys has found some roads out west and leads a ride out there at times. As well as the LITH rides, And track days are a twisty orgy

Brian
So many roads so little time.

I am going to explore Southern Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas this weekend to find some twisties.

Thanks all I don't really have too many chances to meet up with the group. Besides, I want to hit some roads alone to become comfortable with my bike. (beginning rider)
