Those of you who got lasik recently by dr horn

Did they put contacts in your eyes? I noticed this is something new they're doing to prevent the flap from healing wrong but im not sure if thats why my vision is still blurry or if its just a slow slow healer this time around.

The other times by time 24 hours went by i had good vision.

No contacts post op for either my original surgery or the enhancements.

I did manage to scratch my cornea once a year after the surgery though. He basically loaded up a contact with some meds & told me to wear it for a few days.

When Dave had his eye injury he wore a "bandage" lens for 2 weeks. It was to help the epithelial (sp?) layer heal.

I don't ride, I cook!

OMG I am never going to the place you went. Every other week you're posting about complications. Sucks to be you and I feel bad for ya too. I smell a nice malpractice suit on the way. Hopefully you get better though cuz I don't know what I would do without my sight.

I can't make out what you typed here Tony - Is it important?

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

Mandy was going to hit me with a frying pan. I went to sweep the leg, and caught the handle of the pan in my eye. She won the battle that day.

And Phil to be fair to Dr. Horn, trannies are known to have complications to eye surgery.

I had the contacts. They also help with the discomfort or so I'm told.
