When you'll get your Stimulus Payment

Stimulus payments will be sent out in the order of the last two digits of the Social Security number used on the tax return.

Below are the schedules for economic stimulus payments related to tax returns processed by April 15.

(Direct Deposit Payments)
Find the range within which the last two digits of your Social Security number falls and the date by which your economic stimulus payment should be sent to your bank account:
00 20: May 2
21 75: May 9
76 99: May 16

(Paper Check)
Find the range within which the last two digits of your Social Security number falls and the date by which your economic stimulus payment should be in the mail:
00 09: May 16
10 18: May 23
19 25: May 30
26 38: June 6
39 51: June 13
52 63: June 20
64 75: June 27
76 87: July 4
88 99: July 11

Because the IRS will use the Social Security number to determine when checks are mailed, taxpayers may receive their checks at different times than their neighbors or other family members. On a jointly filed return, the first Social Security number listed will determine the mail-out time.

I am sure the people who are getting $300 wish they had your problem. I have no problems with the government throwing the dogs a bone every so often. While I don't agree with the benefits of the stimulus plan, I do agree that people who make over $75K shouldn't get anything. Hell, Uncle Sam could keep my money for all I care.

You go on with that plan and tell me how well it works out for you. Never underestimate greed.

I thought it was if your AGI was <75 for filing single or <150 for filing joint.

600 bucks isn't too bad. 50 per month can go a long way for people living paycheck to paycheck. For people with limited debt, the money will most likely just be saved rather than spent. I agree with the concept of giving people some cash to spend, bolster jobs and tax revenue, but I'd almost rather the government keep that money and fix all the broken issues in our society. Just my opinion, of course, but taxes need to go UP. We need to pay down our debt and recover our dollar's value. Long term that will be more positive than the 600$ checks going out.

I just don't agree with this plan, although I am very happy for those receiveing the money.
