Wallets

I currently have a woven nylon North Face bi-fold. It kicks ass and shows no signs of wear even after many years of use. However I have started to have back pains from sitting on it and am considering the move to a front pocket card/money holder setup. Anyone have thoughts or recommendations on wallets/money holders.

This is what I am considering:

I just wanted to say that I stopped putting shit in my back pocket because of back pains a long time ago, and it definitely helps.

I have what you are looking at, a cheap one for about $15 from one of the small kiosks in the middle of a mall. Had mine for a few years and it is starting to show some signs of use and looking for a new one myself.

I should add my wallet is not thick like a Constanza, it is only about 9/16" at the thickest point.

Why is a bi-fold called a "bi" when it gets folded once?

Because the fold refers to the piece of paper being folded. A bi-fold only has one crease.

That's pretty slick, does it still grip as strongly as it did when you first got it? That's always been my issue with money clips.

Another vote for money clip. I'm a minimalist when it comes to carrying shit.

All I really need are my D.L., health ins. card, debit card & 1 good credit card + cash.

Pockets full of useless junk are a PITA!

I'm a minimalist too, but I don't like money clips. I'd rather not pull out cash in public.
My current wallet is perfect for me, ID window on the inside with a pocket where I slide in a few bills and 3 slots on the other side for debit, credit and cta pass. Its a Marshall fields brand that Macy's no longer carries. Dam Macy's!
Its only 4" X 2.75" X .25" and very easy to carry in the front pocket.

I bought this one because its the same size, but it doesn't have the ID window and I don't trust the pouch to hold my credit/debit cards securely.

Coach wallets are shit. I received two of them as gifts a while back. Sold one and the other sits and collects dust. I plan on re-gifting it soon though. Gianfranco Ferre is what I use. True story.
