Grey Goose, Ketel One, Stoli are all good...Stoli Elit if you wanna spend some $$ (~$55) Effen Black Cherry is great for sipping straight. As well as 44 North Huckleberry Vodka...It's distilled in idaho from idaho potatoes and huckleberries...it's one of the smoothest vodkas I've ever bought.

Just steer clear of Dimitri or Skol!!

To be honest they often do blind taste test for vodka and Smirnoff wins a lot.

Often overlooked but just as often praised by taste testers, Smirnoff, cheap, great and plentiful. Solid choice.

I did a search on if it is grey goose and it is from the same region of France but not the same distillery. It could be like Ron Rico and Bacardi though.

In Russia you would be put in front of firing squad for mentioning flavored vodkas. only one flavored vodka is not gay - pepper flavored!

Smirnoff is a poor knock off of what it was 100 years ago, Stoli is only successful outside Russia, in Russia its used to sanitize toilet seats.

Grey Goose is decent, Ketel One - one step down, Belvedere and Shopin- are almost as good as Grey Goose.

out of potato vodkas, one Polish is good - Wyborowa, though harder to get, also if you are in Russian/Polish liquor store, look for Zubrowka and Nemiroff Honey Pepper Vodka

There is this vodka that was brought by a relaitve from Russia recently - its called Marusya - I am still looking for it here in US - its unfuckingbelievable!

personally i like all 3 EFFEN vodkas: the unflavored effen, and black cherry, and raspberry. sure flavored vodka's are made fun of but they're great to drink straight.

a new vodka i tried recently that is decent and a bit cheaper than above is 3 Olives. i've had 3 Olives grape and 3 Olive cherry, bigger fan of the grape though.

also can't go wrong with Belvedere, Grey Goose, and Kettle One as mentioned above.
