New Cops Cars Thanks To You

http://www.wcnc.com/video/news-index...d=220060&shu=1

I guess nothing new really. But I haven't seen it to this degree.

Here they use Dodge Chargers (Marked and unmarked), Mustangs (Marked), Tahoes (sp?), flatbed trucks and of course whatever else.

The motorcycle cops look like Goldwings or something and they're ULTRA QUIET.

Wow, the cops are like Transformers now , coppers in disguise. They are getting too good at hiding the fact that they are cops. I have seen a silver unmarked Charger pull a few people over in the south suburbs. Even marked cars have lights that are 3" thick on top. If they are a half a block away you can't tell they are cops at all .

They won't use the VW right? Do they always have to use an American manufacturer? Or could we see them pulling people over in a BMW M3 ?

One of the cars we seized is a Mercedes from Europe actually, that's one of the POS cars actually too.

I dont think they would use the VW for actual patrol stuff, maybe an undercover or decoy car for something. Of course, the VW could probably be my special own patrol car. I'm only 5'2" and I'm practically swimming in the Crown Vics.

I think it depends on the union. My friend is the commander of the Michigan State police high performance driving unit. The are the clearing house for testing all new possible police cars. Departments from all over the country come to them to get the reports on the tests. They've tested WRXs, Evos, and others. Infact they blew the trans on the Evo in only 55 mins.
