MSF Course

I got a friend that's interested in learning how to ride but i forgot the web address to the msf course. I know it's kinda late for her to register ,so i told her the way to get in the class is to show up as walk-in. Can someone post up the link?

All the MSF spots are probably closed by now. I sent my registration in (via snail mail) last year the day after registration opened. I got a spot in Sept/Oct so classes fill up really fast. Best to just get a walk in spot. My dad was able to get a walk in spot, but make sure you come early. Bring all the required stuff like boot, gloves, etc.

I think we're all forgetting the very best group who also happens to be a sponsor... Ride Chicago!! (errm well they used to be a sponsor not seeing them on the list anymore.) Either way excellent classes and great people teaching.

The basic class there is around $300, the one I listed was $20 and they provide a bike, and when the class is over a waiver to get your m class without doing the road test. ~Mandy

I like NIU classes, because registration is done online. All you would have to do is refresh the page every few seconds for a couple minutes before registration opens and you almost guaranteed a spot in the front of the line. But by now they are probably mostly booked, so his best bet would be a walk in. http://www.outreach.niu.edu/mcycle/registration.shtml

If anyone that has riding experience is interested in becoming an MSF instructor, you can PM me. Because the classes are full every year, they're always looking for instructors so they can add more classes. The program gets larger every year, but staffing is sometimes the limiting factor.

Good luck with the stand by. I would pay the extra money and scedule the training course on my schedule not theres. If I took one day off of work it would negate the savings of the course you posted. Sometimes the hassle is not work the reward.
