Europe trip, looking for tips

So I have to go to Cheadle, Cheshire UK for a 4 day training in May. My boss also wants me to visit one of our offices while I'm out there so I'll probably go to Nijmegen, The Netherlands (75 miles southwest of Amsterdam).

So my question. I'm going to take some extra time while I'm over there to do some visiting. i'll have from Friday night to Tuesday afternoon (maybe Wednesday afternoon to explore. Where would you go and what would you do?

I'm thinking about spending Friday night and Saturday during the day in Manchester. Then fly to Dublin and check out that and maybe somewhere else in Ireland form Sat night-tues night. Then Fly to Nijmegan Wednesday and Thursday or meetings, Spend Thursday night in Amsterdam and head back Friday. What do you think?

I was just going to say that, or start a riot at a United game.

If you stay in Amsterdam for a few days, make sure you take the following 2 weeks off work after you get back to avoid testing...

Guinness tour and Davy Bryne's Pub on Duke Street while in Dublin, also the pub next to the Cemetery is a good time.

I spent 2 months in Cheadle training at the BAE factory in Woodford. It's a very small town, but a few great pubs. Also a great restaurant I think it was called the Ashley. Well worth going to. York is only about an hour train ride. It is a very cool city for history. It has Roman ruins, viking ruins, early English ruins and so on. All built on top of each other.

Hit a book store and browse the travel section for some ideas of places to visit near both towns you'll be in. There is lots to see and do in both countries.

Personally, I would allocate a sh*t load more time to be in Amsterdam. There is plenty to see and do, oh, and they have the bubonic chronic legally for sale in most coffee stores (R.L. district)
