Cool Somebody already open the season

I don't know what happen exactly but my paranoid mom called me just a minute ago that on North and Mannheim was a horrible accident involving a motorcycle. From what she was saying there were 2 cars also. She couldn't recognize what kind of bike was it since there wasn't much left of it.
Here we again, stupid drivers.

Guys ride safe !!!

It has begun!

Any jackholes here riding last night around 9:30ish? Heading towards downtown, 1 black Kaw, and a black/silver 929RR who had a passenger. I must say, you guys have awesome lane changing skills.

Man, Possibly Off-Duty Cop, Killed In Accident
MELROSE PARK, Ill. (STNG) ― Police in northwest suburban Melrose Park refuse to comment on reports that an off-duty Stone Park police officer was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV on Wednesday afternoon.

A man in his 30s was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV at at 2033 N. Mannheim Rd., according to a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The man's name is being withheld pending family notification, the spokesman said. Pronouncement information was not immediately available.

A person who answered the phone at the Melrose Park Police Department would only say that they responded to the scene of an accident at Armitage Avenue and North Mannheim Road late Wednesday afternoon. He said no further information would be available until Thursday.

A witness said the accident involved a motorcycle and an SUV, and that the driver of the motorcycle was killed. Unconfirmed reports said the victim was an off-duty Stone Park police officer.

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

Jesus H....people remember, the best part of a ride, is getting to park it in the garage! Remember a few things....the street is not a race track! And when riding you NEVER, EVER have the right of way....and are invisible! 33 is too damn young!

When riding on the street, "look big, look deep" By this I mean when approaching any intersection, look big....take "big" picture of the situation, and look "deep" look for hazards and other vehicles before approaching the intersection.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

Ok I have the 411 on this But I am not going to say much as I was asked not to. The individual is in fact a officer and he is also related to the fireman that was killed last year when two fire trucks struck each other.

This was yet another case of the SUV blowing the red light and hitting him.

If that is indeed the case, I'm sure this is one accident where the cager is not going to get off so easy. I just wish it didn't take a fellow rider's death to crack down on it.
