Bad Ass.

Still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck a little.

Just got done watching an episode online. Airwolf has to have one of the coolest theme songs and best batch of sound effects ever on tv
Love that shriek when it flies by at high speed.

I never realized that Bellasario (creator of airwolf) is also responsible for NCIS, Jag, Magnum PI, and Quantum Leap.

Volcano hideout, helicopter with jets, wicked bad theme song.... yeah this show rocked.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Jan Michael Vincent?
No...
Sad story about him...
I believe he was the highest paid guy in television on Airwolf for a while
Got in a really bad accident.. Was disfigured... Addicted to pain killers..
Last I heard he is basically a hermit ... I think there is some lady involved but I guess he is out in the country .. doesn't see or talk to anyone and I believe he is in a wheelchair.

gonna go see if anything is on wikipedia

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or agreeing!

I think the soundtrack from the show sold as like the most expensive soundtrack ever sold.. Something like 500$ or so for a cd on ebay... Saw that a looong time ago on digg or something..

Wikipedia describes things a lot nicer than the article I read a year or two ago.... Not sure which contains more truth and which contains more political correctness...

1990s and 2000s
Jan-Michael Vincent has been involved in two severe automobile accidents from which he barely escaped alive. As a result of one accident in 1996, in which Vincent broke three vertebrae in his neck, he sustained a permanent injury to his vocal cords from an emergency medical procedure. This has left him with a permanently raspy voice. It was while he was in the hospital that he was committed to a role in "Red Line" with Chad McQueen. He appeared in the film with a swollen face, scars, and still wearing the hospital ID bracelet.

During a rare interview for the TV program The Insider on September 18, 2007, when asked about the 1996 car accident, he answered, seemingly dazed, "Y'know, I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't remember being in an accident." He later discussed being an alcoholic.[2]

In 1997 he had a small guest role on Nash Bridges playing the title character's long-lost brother.

A notable exception to the downward trend in Vincent's post-Airwolf career was his small role in the critically acclaimed independent film Buffalo '66, in 1998.

His last film role was in the independent film White Boy, also titled Menace (for the US video version), released in March 2002.

As of 2007, Vincent resides with a female companion in the Eagle Lake area of Warren County, Mississippi, just north of Vicksburg. He has little contact with locals. He refers to them as HillBillumpadumps. He has also taken up Skoal.[citation needed]

Vincent has a daughter, Amber Springbird Vincent, from his marriage to first wife Bonnie Portman.

another not so pretty view of the progression of time... I realize there is far more involved in this case than time.

He looks really bad. unbelievable. I remember watching the reruns, and his character would have a wooden cabin next to the lake. He would play his instrument and a hawk would do fly bys.

I go on Internet database all the time. I always learn new things. I forgot what movie, but I was amazed to find out one of the actors died 5 years ago. Okay, I recall it now. It was Mark? from Roseanne show. Another movie was a kid who got pranked a lot in highschool. After the movie, he committed suicide. It was his only movie role.

Airwolf was awesome. The last season went downhill when there was a new cast and totally different production team.
