i didn't know a sporting event was supposed to be a party atmosphere?
BAHHHHH, i don't hate the cubs, just most of their fans. most of them are almost as ignorant as us southsiders! go baseball! go whitesox....poor cubs fans.
A sporting event ISN'T supposed to be a party atmosphere? Then what is it? I LOVE seeing any teams fans rally behind their team, support them through the good and bad.
I don't hate the Sox, hell, I was at game 1 of the world series sitting behind home plate (although they were free tickets and my dad took me...I would never pay to see a Sox game!
), but I get really tired of the Southside fans who can dish it out but can't take it.
This is a fact... during the Sox winning seasons they have sell out crowds, the minute they start losing, attendance dwindles. The year following the world series win, your stadium was only 3/4 filled only 1/2 way into the season. You had the SAME talent as the year before, they were a good team on a losing streak and their 'fans' abandoned them. NICE. You don't see that with Cubs fans...we know what loyalty is. And yes, we also know how to party. Wrigleyville is a great place to hang out whether it's a game day or not.
So read my signature...and think about it. You are how you are perceived.
