I think it was on Oprah...I was at the gym...the Barrington MILFs where eating it up...I quickly threw in my DVD of Gladiator and ran my 4.25 miles. Too weird for me to think about!

I'm fine with the whole thing. I have gay friends and they are great parents. I don't feel sorry for the baby, she will have a mother and father. The one pregnant lives as a man in everyother way, even legally. These people bought sperm from a sperm bank and had to inseminate her at home. At least this child is being brought into this world by people that are desperate to have her. That's more than a lot of kids have. ~Mandy

HAHAAHAHA all i can think about while reading it was SilentAlero.

In all seriousness, i'm sure the kid will be fine. She'll grow up just like everyone else. Tortured in school? Probably, but everyone goes through that shit at some point in their lives.

+1 aside from the sensationalism the press is giving this pregnancy (imagine that) this child has a lot more then a lot of children.

That this child is wanted and will be loved and nurtured. It will grow up with a mother and father. So what both parents have a vagina, but the kids doesn't have to know that. I was raised by a great mother and a piece of shit step-dad, but the fact that I had one great parent went a long long way. I'm sure that with 2 loving parents, no matter the gender, this child too will be fine. As to the comment that the kid will be picked on, why is that? The article says that the partner that lives as a female hasn't told her family that the "male" partner is transgendered. That tells me that the "male" is very passable. ~Mandy

i agree....and also the true female in the relationship had had a histerectomy and would have been unable to carry a child...so instead of going to a serogate(sp?) mother the baby gets to be carried and they get to have that experience together.....more power to em...

that was my first thing was the kid. and how it was going to grow up in a family like that. I'm not saying that it's wrong or trying to be negative about it. shoot, the way kids are i am sure the child will be picked on alot and maybe even get beat up. I know it's kinda sad but in the school yard those things happen all the time over things sooo small. Over time with a child taken abuse like that it can wear down a child down.
Hay if it works out and the child grows up healthy, more power to them. Really, you just don't see that exact type of situation all the time. At least not before and I was just shocked when i heard about it.
good stuff folks

I'm watching it on oprah right now. I gatta watch something while I wait for my call to find out if I still have a job. Its all a bit weird never seen anyone who wanted to be a man everone usually wants the boobs.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.
