Are you serious?

Cold and crappy. The storm system moving across the nation won't be gone by Saturday. The cold air mass over the Rockies will get us Friday night. That coupled with the large amounts of moist air being pumped up by the deep low that's over Missouri right now means not-good-trackday-weather.

Enjoy the weekend. I'll be in NYC sipping latte and eating sushi pretending I'm Bug.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Yes, I was serious!

I was hoping for a break in the system, just maybe

Enjoy your weekend with your lattes. Since you'll be gone, do you have some cold weather camping gear we can borrow?

Real Canajuns hate everything to do with snowmobiles What moron would want to ride on a sled when it's -50, without the windchill. Real Canajuns are sitting in a nice warm bar drinking X, watching peelers from South Ontario, saying "Cold Eh?"

Sorry Mort for the bad news.

I do have all the cold weather camping gear you'd need. Hell, if a glacier suddenly covered Rockford I could hook you up. I've got a -35 degree sleeping bag, 1 man single-wall mountain tent, foam and air mattresses, white gas stove, and all the freeze-dried food you can eat, just to name a few.

I have a two man TNF mountain tent I could let you borrow as well. It is a double wall so it may be a little warmer. PM me if you are interested.

Isn't going to see some peelers the same as going to the Canadian Ballet?

I've got one of your countymen who is dating a ballerina staying over for a night next week on the way back from watching The Masters. He thinks he has it made.

Wha?!

Peelers is a stripper term from the 20's Rick.

I think you're showing your age, not country of origin!
