20 Ton Press

I'm guessing this is a long shot but does anyone have a 20 ton press I can use to insert a new control arm bushing? I would go whereever the press is and bring the removed control arm. I'm trying to save a little dough since the bushing is $12 and the control arm is $140. TIA.

We send all our stuff out to them to get pressed. Its so cheap its just not worth getting one for the shop.

Napa has decent machine shops for basic stuff. When I was in the auto industry thet did a nice job with machining heads for stock use.

You can also try car quest, they do it also. If all else fails I see your out in Oak Park. I can't think of the shops name but I believe its Pete's. I am drawing a blank right now what street its off of, but the guy was a real stand up guy. If you cant get it done let me know and I will try to locate Petes number for you.

Napa in DG does it. Total cost is $35 plus tax. Thanks!

If they are charging you only for labor, there should not be any tax. If they have a shop fee, there is tax on that.

Your momma so fat, she could insert a new control arm bushing just by sitting on it.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."
