That is what an "Open Forum" is for. When your around long enough you'll know most of our members are all about the cycles. Unlike most forums we all ride together constantly and have lots of friendships formed because of it. So a little bs'in' among friends is all cool here.

Like Tony said, most of us have been aroudn long enough that we've already had all the same old conversations about bikes.

Anything goes here, just put it in the correct forum.

BTW - if you didnt; notice, the "preview" panel on the main page is linked to all forums and only shows the last 10-15 topics discussed.

If your entire life is your motorcycle....you have major issues and need to start getting out a little more. I've made thsi mistake i nthe past wiht other hobbies, that wile I'm still unhappily single.

Okay sounds fair to me. He is right after all.

So just to set an example to see how this will work out any post you make, reply or start should be deleted. No more helping out with house problems and no more "Great deals" on property unless its a motorcycle part! WTF?

Thats what makes us GREAT! We help each other out when ANYONE needs help! From A to Z someone has knowledge about something useful. If this offends you maybe stick to the Motorcycle section and ignore everything non-moto related.

No offense to you but me personally have recieved help from fixing my car to setting up a computer to run faster to doing carbs and much much more.

ALMOST anything!

There are plenty of sites you can go to if you want every post to turn into a bitch fest.

We have very little moderator intervention here because most people pick up on the tone of the site quickly and get to know the people here by coming to rides and events.

If you are the kind of person who likes to stir up drama you may find yourself being isolated.

The old saying "It's not what you say, but how you say it." goes a long way.

Logtar,

My son's Dojo is going down for remodeling this week. If they are replacing the mats and you haven't found some new ones, I'll let you know if the old mats are available. I'll be in Chitown soon and if you need them and are able to have them, I can bring them with me.

Was this post supposed to be about motorcycles?

So what did those poor dogs eat? I mean really, you used to see a bunch of anorexic dogs running around begging for food. It was pathetic!

Nickbob,

I heard that joke. Okay, Bear and Rabbit are dumpin' in the woods. Bear says to Rabbit, "Do you have a problem with poop stickin' to your fur?" Rabbit says, "Nope, not me!" Bear says, "Cool!" Then Bear picks up Rabbit and wipes his butt with Rabbit. - Eddie Murphy 1987

Logtar,

Sorry, Man. The mats are going to be retained.

By the way if anybody needs a seat cowl for a '02' GSX-R 1000 let me know. It's a little scratched and there's a crack down the middle but it can be repaired and you can have it for the cost of shipping.

DUH...... everyone knows you don't put blinker fluid in the blinkers. I put that in my Gixxer's windshield wiper.

God.. the lack of knowledge in here!! I'm outraged. And you call yourselves a motorcycle website.

If you guys really want to discuss bike stuff, I've been meaning to call up a dealer and find out how much it would cost to get new brake pads, a new sprocket and a new chain for a 2002 F4i, anyone know?

I'm not talking just the parts, I mean installed.

Guessing $300 parts&labor

Chain = $100-150
Brakes Pads = $70 (Get Vesrah pads!)
Sprockets = $100 for a set.

est. Labor = $50 to install the chain & sprocket
Brake job = $100 to change the fluid and and install the pads. IF you're over 30k miles, you might want to have the master cylinder rebuilt (another $50)

My guess almost $400 with parts and labor.

If you really want, I have a low mileage stock rear sprocket off the second rear wheel I bought and a brand new 15T frontsprocket. But that would lower your gearing some....since the stock front sprocket is a 16T
