Thanks Mao!

Mao hooks it up again...

Finally removed my ghetto fender. Used some "L" brackets to tack on my license plate... didn't cost me a cent I am no longer a noob.

He also helped me shave my ball sack. True story.

Asians FTW

So what happens when a cop is behind you and asks why you don't have a light for your plates?

I personally have never had a problem. But it is a risk. We can rig up and LED light as well if it is a problem.

I should also add a disclaimer that I would not do this myself. Instead, I'd get a proper fender eliminator kit with lights and all. But Gregory likes it and it was free.

What's a proper fender eliminator? It's just a piece of metal some "genious" stamped out on a machine. At least yours is not 2 zip ties haging down from the fender flappin in the wind like I see on so many squids bikes.

The 2006+ R6S is identical to the 2005 R6. The S stands for surplus. Yamaha is trying to sell off it's surplus 2005 parts. Actually the R6S is said to be more street friendly while the 2006+ R6 is more of a track weapon.

That yamaha looks awesome. Amazing what a few changes can make. When Rick p-coated a few parts for my speed four, it was a day and night difference. IMHO, I would go to a single seat tail, lose the rear pegs, chop the can, and pc3 it. I do not know the difference with yamaha models, but the difference between a duc and a duc s is minor. Better suspension with the s, and a bunch of carbon fiber that looks like shit in 8 years true story. Rep for a great looking bike.
