the weirdest 2 days of my life

Friday I get tricked into a 4 hour meeting with a co-worker to pick his brain...they fire him 20 minutes after I'm done. And they didn't tell me they were going to fire him. So he's all pissed off thinking I knew about it and Im a backstabbing rat. He also has lawsuits pending against the company. With specific people being sued. Guess who else might me on his shit list now.

I spend over an hour at Cabelas trying to get a atv ramp. They had to call the warehouse 3 times. Each time it was, "on it's way."

I get home from being out of town all week. My freezer is open and half the stuff is laying on the floor. I have no idea what the cats were doing. Yes they had food.

I get up at 7am today and drive 45 minutes to the Will county courthouse to pay my ticket from over a year ago. A bad attidue security guard barks at me, "you can only pay a ticket monday thru friday." I work in Rockford durring the week. Theres no way for me to get to Joliet durring the week. Oh and theres 20 people in lobby all waiting for someone to get married. All hopping up and down and squelling.

I drive home. Archer Avenue is blocked off. So I drive around the forrest perserve to the back way of Archer. Also blocked off. The have a fucking parade going on. And every driveway and sidestreet is blocked off. My driveway is right in the middle of the parade route. I wait in my car and watch the floats go by for a half hour.

I take the bike out today. Did 3 hours up and back around the north burbs. I get two blocks from my house to get gas. Bike doesn't start. Battery is dead.

I get the bike home, (at least the brand new ramp I got worked perfectly), and find out the regulator is busted. I call the dealer that usually has a good parts department.
"Hello, can you check stock for me"
"Whats your name?"
"Hold on."
"Hello, yeah its not in yet. Monday it will be here"
"But I havent ordered anything. I need to check stock."
"Ok what do you need?"
"Voltage regulator, 97 Suzuki TL1000S"
"Hold on."
"Ok, are you calling about the 954?"
"No, i called about the voltage regulator."
"Do you need the belt too?"

I srsly need a drink sooo bad right now

Never just replace the regulator without the belt. Bad stuff happens man.

Eric, I've been having crazy shit like this happen to me almost non-stop since the beginning of the year...just day after day after day of dealing with half-wits and crazy people and feeling like someone is kicking me in the nards and asking hows my day?

Just remember, it's the little things that will get you through the day(s).

When the bike would not start, did you try stepping on the rear brake? Maybe that will help.

That's messed up. All I can say is ALL the friggin idiots were out today. Are you sure the parade wasn't for moron-fest?

Here's to you Eric Hopefully things go better for the rest of the weekend.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

Damn Eric. You should have gone out with us last night.

I hope things get better for ya.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
