and there thick (from bottom of boot to the top). i
could bearly upshift. lol i found all this out on river
road, in traffic. yeah, i know. it seems like the boot
is to thick to fit in between the peg and shifter??

Can't you adjust the shifter to compensate for the boot?

Life has no instruction manual. Parts and labor can be impossible to find. Many go down the road with parts that are in need of service. A breakdown is eventual.

ya, just move the shifter up

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Yesterday was my first time out in the dirt with the Sidi Sabers I just ordered. Within 10min it was like second skin. I returned a pair of Thor boots because they felt all squishy, and were nearly 3" thick from the bottom of the sole to the top of the toe. I was afraid I'd have to move the shifter up to the handlebar to compensate!

I see enough people riding with the thick boots on to know it can be done - but I feel for ya. I don't think I could have adjusted to the Thors as quickly out on the trail.

G'luck with the adjustment!
