UIC anyone?

So as the weather is getting warmer I've been noticing a ton of sport bikes parked around campus. Just wondering if they are anyone on here?

uicsux will tell you that UIC sucks!

I've dated many a girl that attended UIC. I used to sleep in their dorm rooms and use their meal cards to eat that crap they call food in the cafeteria. When you're broke and have barely enough money for gas to get down there cafeteria food is good. Plus you can use the card at the Subway and other fast food restaurants.

I live right next to uic. haven't ever seen anyone on here around since. Dan and I are the only ones that live right there, but we only have track bikes now. I've seen Silent roaming around west loop here and there.

UIC Cafeteria food sucks monkey ass, I'm not sure how anyone eats it. Carms next to the Daley library is pretty good. Taylor Made pizza on Taylor isn't bad either. I don't ride to school, I'm afraid I'll get my bike towed. Nobody would bother stealing my heap of shit but if you have a nicer bike that would be a concern. Its also much cheaper to use your U-Pass.

UIC Cafeteria isn't THAT bad.. I lived in the dorms for 2 years. This was back in like 98-00 though. Lotta squids ride around UIC though.. helmetless. I had some indian dudes that lived above me at my old apartment.. they use to squid it up and down the block all day long.

They made up for it by throwing some phat ass partys where I would bang random girls. True story.

I'm the fat asian guy riding the yellow katana thats been laid down on both sides. ;p I usually park in Lot 4, Halsted Taylor parking structure. I graduated from UIC in July 07 and I now work for them doing IT work.

And yes, the cafeteria has changed their food, you'd be surprised how good it is now.

Thai Bowl has the best pad thai in Chicago. ;p

What department do you work for? Do you have to pay for parking or do you just park there and not get towed? I've seen that bike many a time.

Damn, its been over a decade since I was at UIC. The campus looks nice now compared to when I was there. They use to have these ugly concrete overpasses that connected some of the buildings and Jew Town (do they still call it that?) was not a friendly place to be especially at night. The place is a lot more student friendly now compared to how it was in 92 when I first started college.

Do they charge you to park your bike in that lot? If so, is it a discounted rate? I noticed all the bikes in their don't even use a parking spot, they just park on the yellow lined area near the entrance

It's actually a designated motorcycle parking area, a few of the parking lots around UIC have designated motorcycle parking (you will get a ticket for parking in non designated spots!). I used to have parking in Lot 6. I parked my bike there one day and I got a ticket. It got dropped and I moved my parking to Lot 4, HTPS.

It's $20 bucks to get a UIC motorcycle parking sticker for those who already pay for parking.

Do you know how much it is if you don't have a parking sticker for a car? I don't have a car, but I do have a motorcycle.
