Database program for PDA?

I'd like to use my Dell Axim with Windows Mobile OS to make a database to track information through out the day.

I used File Maker Pro a long time ago. But I'd like something like that. Where I can lay it out visually, define the fields, use pull down menus or just enter data into the fields.

Is anyone aware of an inexpensive professional looking program that I can tinker with?

I'll go through my apps in the morning. I had a huge pda pack that I downloaded for my axim a few years ago so i'll take a peak.

Thanks for checking.

I wanted something a little nicer looking then excel. I also don't know that you can have pull down selections in excel.

Hey Greg-- there are a few options... depending on how much of the 'work' you're willing to do. Are you looking for something like having MS Access on the PDA, where you can create forms and write SQL?

Nothing complicated, just a simple way to input repetitive data in a nice looking form.

You can enter a list and then Sort them via pulldowns in excel...if you know what you're doing, there's nothing excel can't do. Nothing.

Also, why not use access?

I can't make a recommendation on these, but there may be one here you're looking for... googled 'pocket pc database':

Maybe I'll have to play with excel more. I know it and Access are powerful, but I just haven't done to much with them.
