missed my flight to Penang....fun in New York instead

So I'm headed to Penang for work. I had to fly to newark and from newark to singapore. Well my united flight was delayed and when I landed in Newark the airport was shut down for the night. I called my friends sister up and we've had so much fun. I'm a NY virgin. We went for drinks last night, and today we did Chelsey Market, time square, Central park, the MET, lunch in little Italy, Chinatown, and the empire state building. So much fun. We are going to grab dinner after a nap and I fly out to penang at 11pm. good times!

it's Chelsea Market, and Times Square, you virgin.

You've gotta be tired, though. That's a lot of NYC for one day.

If you have time, you might want to visit ground zero just to reflect on things.

Not much to see anymore, but still once you see the construction area the size of the whole thing will astound you.
I went a few weeks afterward, and to this day I still can not describe it well.

Last time I was there was last summer; it was still mostly a hole in the ground and they were building foundation. I'm not sure of current progress.
I imagine it's still mostly hole-- there's a lot of infrastructure work being done down there, including subways.

Steveo, you flying Singapore Airlines? Probably in Executive Economy, right? Should be a nice flight. 18 hrs non-stop (longest commercial flight in the world!), but their exec econ is like business on other flights, so no worries.

Have fun and take some pictures.

you to it Jay. my company would prefer me using another airline, but F that. Singapore Air FTW! I have a window seat and no one next to me. After this busy day running around New York I think the flight is going to be pretty enjoyable. I loved my last singapore air flight.
