Down with productivity, my friends!- Excel games

I'm sure many of you know about this, but for those who don't, enjoy! For those of you on government or restricted computers, your days of productivity are over! Small enough to e-mail, and addictive enough to pass an entire day....Excel games FTW!

A simple google search for "excel games" will yield a ton of these freebies, but I've attached three. There's a sonic the hedgehog game out there, too, for those who miss him and his ultra-cute buddy Miles "Tails" Prower.

Sure, you could use your copy of Microsoft Excel to create the business model for your next big multi-million dollar venture, or to calculate last month’s sales for your used car dealership, but why not put it to some really good use and play some arcade games with it instead?

Apparently, programming video games using insanely complex Excel Visual Basic macros is a bit of an art form in Japan. As a matter of fact, everything from Pac-Man to Space Invaders to Missile Command has been recreated with astounding detail using Excel macros.

NM, got it to work.

Thanks Alison!

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I remember that Excel 95 or 97 had a flight sim built into it.

Anyone else remember this and how to get to it?

Seriously, there are tons of these out there. I even saw a Simpsons game.
I've been to excelgames.org for some, and again, Google is your friend (or foe, depending on how much you like your job).

Oh man that brings back memories I used to pull that easter egg back in highschool, piss the teachers and staff off, them thinking I installed a game on their computer

It's been so long, I don't recall how to go to it...

As for the excel games, we do use these on the Gov computers occasionally
You can take any flash game, and input it in excel than save it as excel file. I don't know what the whole talk about programming shit in VB macros is all about.
