Anyone ever run from the cops?

Me and 2 of my guys ( non ruff ryders) was riding down lake shore drive and we see a city cop up ahead who slowed down tremendously. We were going the speed limit but he decided to slow down and picked on of my guys out the group and lit him up. From nowhere this guy hits it going down the wrong way on lake shore drive and we turned off knowing the cop was pissed and would probably get us ( we didnt actually run ) but its crazy because when we met back up with him he says EVERYONE runs and that's why im asking.

This probably isn't the place to be asking people this question. LEO's on the board, and LEO's monitor the board. Hence, why gangsta ride routes are never posted.

Not intentionally. When I slowed down, he caught up. I pulled over once I noticed him.

It's Dominicks, not Domonicks How many brains do they have in stock?

Running is stupid, I am surprised I am not dead and still have a license. The only reason I ran before was because I had no M-class and no insurance, which is also stupid.

Now that I am and have been completely legal for the last 5-7 yrs, I always stop and half the time they let me go after they see I am legal.

I never have either. But I have a friend who rides and he rides with his motorcycle group and they do this all the time. I don't ride with him because of that (among other things) not to mention I have heard that if you stop for them, you will get the ticket. I think it's incredibly stupid to put your life in that type of risk personally (this sport is dangerous enough).

If they catch you after an intentional high speed elude, you will get more than a ticket and your bike will be impounded............

That's why a lot of people run. I am 2 legit 2 quit... Hey if I wasn't breaking the law there's no need to run and if I was well I guess I have to pay the fine...

Never would beacuse (1) I could fuck someone else up and (2) I've got too much to lose and (3) although it sounds like a lot of fun, it would probably end in a wreck and (4) helicoptors

Yes I hid in a car wash bay for about 3 hours before proceeding home that evening. I think the car wash was on 87th st west of I-94, can't quite remember it was 10 yrs ago.

True Story.

I ran once from a cop on my EX250. I was doing standups and smoking crack. I was easily doin' 175mph when I passed him and I never looked back. I just hit my secret switch to slide the fork tubes and I hit 200+. Still got 60mpg that night too. True story.

Seriously, never have, never would.

Nope never. If your riding speed limit with valid M license and insurance. No reason to run. Takes 1 rider to make all other riders look bad.
