CLSB SRTT Class

Who would be in for a CLSB ONLY Ride Chicago SRTT class. This is a hypathetical as we would have to set up a specific date to do so. My thoughts are a discount, say $90 a person (vs $105) and only open to CLSB members in good standing . 5 hour class at Toyota Park, Date TBD. Max class size would be 12 people. You'd have to have a bike, insurance and a willingness to learn. And for those that know more than us, you'd at least have a kick-ass track to rip around for 5 hours. This is a street course, not track day and I feel like most could learn a thing or two. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!!!

Rocky.

It really shows you how to use your body to control the bike and how to ride the bike not just sit on it.

I would do it again but do not have a street bike but when I do get another I will be in the first available class afterwards.

Yeah, it would be on a weekend. Course description at ridechicago.com

We just set up the new course last week, it's fun as hell. This parking lot has the most grip of any surface I have ridden, probably put a hurt on some tires.

Just took the SRTT course this Sat, granted the weather was bad, the instruction was great!!!

Best stuff I got out of it was in the braking techniques and clutchless shifting(even though I'm getting it down only about 50% of the time )

+rep for Rocky(plotts)!!!

funny thing is I was the only sport-bike(well there was a Monster S4R... is that still a sportbike or a tweaner?), everyone else was on cruisers...

04 F4i... SOLD 4/7/10

thanks!!!

btw been trying to practice the clutchless shifting everytime and still only getting it about 50% of the time, the rest of the time I just look like a fool tryin to kick the shifter... is there a certain engine speed you don't want to go above or what?

I let off the throttle everytime but it doesn't always want to shift.
