Pet Insurance

Who here has pet insurance?

-Has it been beneficial to have?
-How good is the coverage?
-What are some better insurance companies?

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Best one to have IMHO. When lola (The Dobe) ate the stuffing from the comforter and had 90% of her intestine removed, a month in ICU etc...her total bill was $23,000.00 Although insurance would only pick up a portion of that, it would have paid around 9 grand with the policy we looked at. Thats HUGE. But needless to say..we didn't have insurance...

I have my dogs on a pet plan through Banfield (Petsmart). I plan $19 a month per dog and I have saved over $5000! This plan pays for the dogs getting fixed, all their vacines, office visits and even discounts on medications! It's been a life saver for us.

Isn't it the freakin' weekend yet???

+1 after the first year we dropped to the $15 a month plan. We drive to the crestwood location as Dr. Ritter rocks! ~Mandy

i bought 2 of my dog and keep the other one in a loft downtown just in case an "accdent" happens with this one.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

Is that just for Petsmart or are you able to use the vet of your choice?

If my calculations are correct, this will create ice... OH NO, KILLER MUSTARD GAS!
