The Alaska Experiment

So who caught this? Basically they drop several groups off in Alaska right before winter. They give them 4 wall and a roof to live in with some basic supplies for 3 months. It looks pretty interesting. This is def something for Chills to watch.

The first episode had a father and daughter team. Dad goes out to hunt salmon and the fat daughters start chowing down on the food.

Then another group took 2 days to walk 3 miles.

Yeah real hard, there was a better show on PBS about some older guy that went to Alaska and did everything, built his own cabin and shit and hunted and lived there till he was like 85 or something. Thats hard core.

I hadn't seen this. It sounds pretty interesting. What are the rules? Just stay in those camps for 3 months? What kind of supplies do they get?

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

They get a ton of shit. Already built shelter, wood burning stove, potatoes, peanut butter, sugar, lots of food but they claim not enough proteins so they also get fishing poles, hunting rifle and such.
