Hey Mopar

Now that you are back at a chrysler dealership can you help me out with that trailer harness problem? here is where I stand.

I had a 2007 chrysler 300 and I used the mopar trailer tow wiring harness part #82209472 with it perfectly. This is the 4 prong connector version.

I got a 2008 chrysler 300 in December. Mopar still recommends that you use the same part number (82209472) according to Mopar.com and the mopar book they had at the dealer. The only problem is when I tried it, the side brake lights on my car don't work. The center one on the trunk does. Obviously there is a problem and i'm assuming it has to do with the new tailight design. Could Mopar be wrong and that wiring harness doesn't work?

I also found this post on a forum.
Stop = Dark Green / White
Left Signal = White / Dark Green
Right Signal = White / Yellow
Parking/Tail = White / Violet

I noticed that there in no wiring connection (connecting the car to the car brake lights) for the dark green/white so that makes sense on why the brakes on my car aren't working.
