Weather today

So 30% chance of rain today. Anyone else think that it isn't going to rain? I really don't want to drive my car any more after riding my bike. This is killing me.

Beautiful day today. It said it was going to ran on Saturday/Sunday, but it didn't rain until late Sunday.

If anyone wants my professional opinion here it is:

Right now there is a deep low right over the central Rockies. This sucker is pulling up a lot of Gulf moisture over the Plains west of us so we'll likely see scattered thunderstorms form this afternoon in that region. There is a solid lifting agent, a cold front, SW of the low but today the front will be over the desert southwest and won't see much of the Gulf air. Once the front moves over eastern TX and LA there will be a solid line of storms.

We have a stationary front sitting over us, but the low is far enough away that I doubt we'll see any precipitation for the next 12 hours. However, the system is moving east so as the night goes on the storms will start popping up here.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

my brother in law msged me at 830 and said he was thinking about playing hooki from work and wanted to go play golf. i had to turn him down cuz i have errands to run on the bike.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

I made the sacrifice for you guys and took the wheel off my bike when it was cold, gotta wait a week for the new tire to come in so im stuck on my death trap zuma. Enjoy the weather, it will probably end around tuesday next week when i get my tire.

The bad part is that's he's right more often then not.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

So maybe I did get more detailed than necessary.

In answer to the first post of the thread, No I don't think it will rain here today.

Noodles is right. I've been in a bad mood because my Pcar is still in the shop (better get her back tomorrow!) so I've been making the weather poor since I can't drive her.

You should set up that car to give off the bat signal when your top drops. Everyone will know it is safe to ride.

Just don't grab a handful of brakes or gas in the rain. Be easy on the gas and brakes. You'll be fine.
