Tail Bag

Im going on a weekend trip this weekend and am in need of a tailbag...quick with everything else i had to get figured out I kinda forgot about it, and Id rather not take a backpack

Wheres a good place to go locally? Im in Elk Grove Village
Ill go with online if they can ship it to me before friday departure

Good brands? secure mounting, decent looks, quality to last a while, water resistance

Thanks

I'd go with a cortech tribag system for the back. You can get the tailbag and then the saddlebags later if you want. CCC has em, but I would still order on line. You don't want to give those scam artists money for anything.

Dude, I have one you can borrow if you want - Just need a bungie cord to hold it down as the strap broke - Coretech bag - C'mon down and pick it up

Cortech Sport brand

+1 Cortech Sport tailbag is very good. I have the 4pc set and can't say enough about this luggage.

CCC has them on the shelf (just make sure it contains all the needed straps and rain cover inside)-I just bought the tankbag from them

...yeah, I know, I know.......but their price was list but it is close-enough to Online prices + shipping. It was also a day/ride and I was in their neighbor hood Sooo

I live DT in the Gold Coast Neighborhood, hence my snootyness - If no rain then I plan on riding on Wed Night, yes

Snootyness...lemme get the snoot detector out ::beep beep: hmm none detected

I looked around on the internet off and on throughout the day for these bags the cortech ones seemed nice and in my price range

I stopped in at DGY after calling woodfield motorsports as well as schaumburg honda. DGY puts them to shame, wow that place is awesome. just the accessories section is about the size of Schaumburg H&S. the people are really helpful and friendly too.

I ended up buying the cortech sport tail bag, part of the tribag system, though Ill probably never need to get the saddle bags its nice to know I can get them and have em all hook together and mount securely.

Bug, thanks for offering to let me borrow yours.

I should be able to make it this week to bike night, sounds like a lot of fun
