Anybody got a seat for cheap?

Well my streak of canning dirtbags at work has finally brought me some bad luck. Just let two go today. I came outside about 2:30 AM and this is what I found. I'm glad they didn't dump it. I've been procrastinating putting sliders on for the last few weeks, just sitting in my drawer. The "bitch" and arrow came off with some rubbing alcohol, just a little left on the cap. I filed a report, but I'm sure that is about it.

Anybody have a seat for an '06 (or '07 1KRR I imagine) for cheap?

Damn that sucks. The way you are firing folks there I wouldn't take the bike to work unless you can put it right under a camera or right in front of a security post for the day. Hopefully some Plexus or Simple Green will get the marker writing off the tank.

You did luck out though...that's nothing compared to carved up tank and slashed tires. Some local kids went at my SV Tank, I have a nice 3" gouge across the top.

It's probably cheaper to get the seat recovered.

Go to Joanne Fabrics, buy some new material, and staple it on. At least I think that works

I'm going to have my cousin do that for the seat on my Ninja, but don't know what kind of material to use. There are a couple Corbin seats on Ebay for 1000RRs, about $150.

I'd CSI that hand writing with the employee forms of the people let go.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

There's really no telling who did it. I've made a number of unpopular decisions in the eyes of some. Good thing is that the hardworking employees, wether I like them or not, are working less. This has come from their own mouths. The decisions I've made are those that are good for our business. This helps my job security, but also makes me an unpopular person in the eyes of some employees and supervisors alike. If all I have to deal with is some vandalism I'm good, it sucks, but I'm alright. Company is going to pay for the damage anyway.

vandalism to the bike

that really sucks to hear.
As some others have suggested, try ebay or.......

Go to your local Marine (boat) shop and pick up enough marine grade vynl to recover your seat. You might also need to replace the foam (since it was probably slashed too). It shouldn't cost you much. A few staples and you're back in the saddle!

Note: carefully remove staples from old seat cover and trace the shape of the cover onto the new material (this helps reinstalling around contours/bends without wrinkles).

I trust you called the cops and handed them a list of names of employees that have been let go.

ALso does your company have a thing in place that people that are terminated are no longer allowed on property and if caught they will be arrested for tresspassing?
